JSEC's qualified personnel / engineers have extensive and varied field experience in the area of power quality and electrical engineering. JSEC's past and existing customers include amongst others semiconductor, tele-communications, transportation, comercial high-rise intelligent buildings, electronic plants and heavy-duty industry (automobile assembly plant, cable, steel and etc.).

WHY THERE IS URGENT NEED TO ADDRESS POWER QUALITY ISSUE NOW

Of late there has been a marked increase of concern on the issue of power quality raised not only by the end-users (plants, service-based, facilities, building owners and etc.) but also the authority. One of the main reasons is due to the explosive growth in tyristor-based equipment, switched mode power supplies (SMP) commonly found in computers, modern electronics, telcos, control installations and others which have low tolerance / sensitive for poor power quality. The other reason being a more informed end-users on the paramount importance of getting "clean" / improve power quality and consistency of supply which have direct impact or effect on the productivity in particular from the perspective of the plant. It is not difficult to see this logic as the output of a plant or any facilities reflects the confidence of the buyers / customers and ultimately the plant or facilities concerned. In short, why wait for unexpected and costly problems to surface when it could be managed and contained in the very early stage.
